Dear Diary

Today I’m thinking about 𝓜𝓲𝓷𝓭𝓯𝓾𝓵𝓷𝓮𝓼𝓼.

notice, meditation, no judgements

Throughout the years, studies have shown that those who practice mindfulness techniques report feeling less stress and even being able to think clearer.

Suzanne Westbrook, mindfulness meditation course instructor at Harvard University, says “Mindfulness is not about being positive all the time... it’s about noticing what happens moment to moment, the easy and the difficult, and the painful and the joyful. It’s about building a muscle to be present and awake in your life.”

If you’re new to mindfulness, try these easy steps:

🌱Find a quiet space to settle in

🌱Breathe deeply, and take notice of each breath

🌱As thoughts come to your mind, gentle turn your focus back to your breathing

🌱Practice daily for 10 minutes

How does practicing 𝓜𝓲𝓷𝓭𝓯𝓾𝓵𝓷𝓮𝓼𝓼 impact your mental health? Leave me a comment below.💜
